Goldfish Can Drive: What's Limiting Us?

Not having such a great day. Normally I would call it the Februaries but two years into Covid it's at a whole new level. Did you see the article in the paper this weekend about widespread cognitive difficulties?

So, this article today on fish-driving-robots made my day. I love Ted Lasso but the 10 second memory bit is not correct. (Ted encourages his team to be like goldfish and forget slights quickly.) Six fish learned how to get around obstacles: reaching the target (for a food pellet); eventually, in less than a minute. If they can do this, surely we can overcome and stay wise!
