Shades can make or break a room and your patience!

Most folks just keep their shades closed because they are so awkward: resulting in no daylight in the room. Any feature with cords to pull or shades to push up can be frustrating. Most are oversized: at least six feet long! Shears can provide constant light AND privacy and they are very inexpensive, but you can't ever really look outside.

My favorites are half plantation or "cafe" shutters. Just swing them open or easily tilt the blades but always have light coming through the top of the windows. From outside only your head would be seen.
